Hi guys, after working on 6mts with my trusty tri-bander vertical for the past years i've now purchased a 5 ele tonna and i'm wanting to know what good amps are out there please around 500w for 6mts, thanks

Hello Andy, my opinion on this is that a 500W PA should make at least 1kW in the maximum.
The point is that many "plug and play" amateurradio amplifiers are just underdimensioned for their power rating. Most of our amps are homebrew. We work with QB5/1750 Tubes.
This tube has a cutoff frequency of 60MHz.
