I recently purchased a Moonraker 6 metre 5 element beam. I find that I can't get it to any lower than 52.8MHz. However the SRW is 1.15-1.
Anyone else had this problem?
It is certainly directional and better than my original dipole.
I would be interested in your general comments on this antenna.

Have you checked the lengths of all the elements are correct ? as it sounds like they are too short !

I found getting a 3Ele version to SWR properly was impossible: A few weeks after I used most of it as parts to make into a 4 Ele I found the reason why -There was a loose connection inside the feed between the SO239 and the Gamma match (I initially though it was the Gamma match at fault).

Thanks for the reply.
Yes that was all checked and OK and of course I did lengthen the driven element with no success.
