Personally I'd recommend the N1MM Contest Logger. It's free and supports the UKSMG Contest. You can download it from:

On the subject of logs; I have been using Taclog for some time now. Partly because it happily runs under win98 on my ageing ruggedised laptop but mainly because of its 'freeform' method of inputting data. For those who haven't used it, this is a revelation when it comes to entering contest info. You can enter the contest exchange in any order eg. report rx'd followed by QRA then call of station worked then report sent etc etc and the software automatically places the data in the right boxes. Does anyone know of any other logging software that allows this? For info, Taclog may be found here:
