Well just finished my two element quad here and ready to put up. Anyone run a quad on six and what are your experiences like with it?

Hi Andy
I had a 3 element in the 90's on a 20ft pole in my garden while waiting for tower permission, I worked JY7SIX on it! Well happy as just radio power in those days. Brian, G3HBR (now sadly SK) had a 3 element one and he heard very well on it. Particularly during marginal openings. I am just about to put up a 4 element to replace my stack of 3 5 element yagis as the winds have been so bad this winter.

Hi Andy

Put up a three element Kerry, its up at 40ft from today, if the winds come back it will be wound down again. Band quite of course at the minute so no contacts.
cheers
