![]() Andy, G0VUH | Always thought six was a gentlemans band with operators following band plans, contesters ignore everything, there are operators right in the digital section, cw section rtty section the only place there was'nt was the beacon section, very frustrating, this included uk operaters calling CQ on 50.250, how times change i suppose what can one man do?

Yesterday I heard stations calling cq contest up till 50.350 I have no problem with either of the above It indicates two things: - There are much more operators today. Read the dx'ers comments who claim they work between 600 and +1000 EU stations during a single days opening. - The bandplan is not suitable anymore (topic already discussed by others recently); segments 080-100 and 120-200 are way too small nowadays. Especially during contest. ON4KST chat has 7900 registered users on 50Mhz already. His servers regular overload during Es evenings. With so may operators I see the gentlemens behavior sometimes dissapear too (outside contests as well). The small friendly pub has become very popular. New people of different kind keep coming in. New challenges arise.People adapt to changes.73 Mark, PA5MW
