no antenna up for 6 atm, but fired up the 857 and ten was nicely open

Short rather localised afternoon openings from here to CT and southern EA for the past 4 days now.
Also very nice to hear and work Sofiane, 7X2GX, on Sunday afternoon.

Hi Richard and Steve .. lets hope 6m opens a little more frequently..
Steve .. it may be worth knocking up a little dipole up for 6m maybe..
i often use my high 29mhz vertical on 6m, works a treat ..
hope to hear you all on 6m

Just had a bit of success last night at  17:15 hours UTC  18/05/2010  from IO74ti  (north east of IOM)  on 050.160 Mhz using my FT817ND on USB with 5 watts into a 1/4 wave magmount on the car i got DJ6XH (Peter) in Munich some  800 miles from me. cheered me up it did.

Ive a 3 ele yagi in the garage, but no time to put it up due to other commitments. will put my GP back up at the weekend, it only needs slotting into its pole and the radials attaching, it will have to do for now
