As some of you may know, I pioneered the LFA Yagi design and have several manufacturers that resell me designs. However, I need to build and prove the designs before they will sell them (naturally).I now have for sales the 2 antennas currently on my tower (first photo on the front page of my site). 1 is for 4M the other for 6M.This is a bit of a monster and is not going anywhere in any wind or other bad conditions.The boom is 1.5 inch thick and 6.6mtrs long. It has a secondary boom beneath the first of around 4 meters so it does not sag! The driven element driven loop is a massive 22.23mm thick with 19.05mm ends. All other elements are 15.88mm thick.Both of these antennas are low-noise designs. Heathkit SB220 modded for 6m, 10m switch on bandswitch now taken by 6m. Instant on power (far in excess of UK legal limit) for the E's season with no warmup pair of 3-500's. 5 pole 5 notch DCI Band Pass Filter purchased in Nov 06 for use in my home station on EME. I purchased the filter for EME (of course can be used on terrestrial stuff!), but have not used it as my activity is much reduced these days. This is a physically BIG filter! Size 38cm wide, 14 deep and 15 high. The filter is centered on 50.200 and has 26.6db of rejection down at 49.920 and continues down to 60db down at 2 mhz down and 100db down at 5mhz down. On the up side there is about 1mhz of operating range for the filter's insertion loss of 1.97db. After the meg, it's 30db down at 2 mhz up, 70 at 4mhz up and 100db down 8 mhz up. Anyone interested can email me for a copy of the network analyser print DCI supplied with it. Cost me £375 (inc vat and duty) and that was without shipping (£65) - yours for £250. Whilst this filter can be tuned, make sure you have a precision network analyser and the know how to do it!
