![]() Paul, G7EZH | I'm considering using one of these for 6m. Has anyone had any experience with this type of antenna? The main reason for choosing this antenna is lack of space and facilities to errect a beam type antenna. Of course all suggestion would be appreciated but apart from the G5RV (half size) that i've so far got away with i'm a bit stuck for idea's. Kind Regards Paul (G7EZH) | ||

Webmaster![]() ![]() ![]() Registered Member #2 Joined: Mon Mar 17 2008, 06:10PMPosts: 204 | Hi Paul, if your stuck for space I'd personally recommend an HB9CV, i've used one for years with great success for working Es etc. It's wide beam width means that you may not need a rotator as much as you would would with other narrower B/W designs. I've worked all around Europe on this antenna usually fixed beaming towards the South East from IO91wt althought I do move it a bit when Scandanavia is comming in. I've also worked the USA on this Multi Hop Es, so if you have limited space, I'd recommend it: ![]() | ||
