![]() Jamie, GW7SMV | hi , I've a new PC for the shack but its only got 1 9 pin com port. I need another 2 com ports so can anyone recommend some USB to Com Port adapters that work ok ? Its a small form factor PC so it also takes half size pci cards too. 73 | ||

I bought one a while ago and when inserted it gave me two addittiinal com ports. You can if course put two cards in if you have enought soared slots and gain 4 additional ports. | ||

I managed to find two (2nd hand) different dual port PCI cards that work fine so I have 4 working serial ports. | ||

Everyone has the same type, but PCs vary from Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux Mint. The adapter works on all of them. I can't remember the model number, though, I'd need to check on Monday. | ||
