Well, is it just me, am i missing something?

I feel like 6m has really been dull and lifeless so far this year. I know we are not at the top of the cycle but 20 years ago when I was on 6m for some years things were a buzzin with activity. I've only recently come back to 6m after many years of QRT. Invested in 2 x 5 ele stacked at 20m+ AGL and now working on a design for a 2 x 3-500z QRO amp, but where/when is 6m going to get going to make this effort worthwhile. Even 10m and 12m are pretty flat this summer. Did the big fella up there pull the plug on F2 and 2hop Es etc for this year?

Sporadic-E, MS and EME can make 6M good fun also outside the F2 peak years. 5000-10000km via multi hop ES is not uncommon during summer.

It looks like the sunspot peak in 2013 will be very low compared with the previous ones. Its very hasty to claim a new "Mauder minimum" yet. In 2008 the scientists predicted a peak with lots of sunspots. Reality today is sadly quite different.
