SB-220 6 Meter Output

Has anyone done the 6 meter conversion that appeared in a QST Hints and Kinks many many years ago. The one where you take a few turns off the 10 meter input coil and change the caps. Also you had to re tap the the Output Tank Coil. I was wondering what kind of output power on 6 I could expect to see after this simple mod.

I modified a SB220 10 years ago. I made mine a monobander. To reduce the minimum tuning capacitance, I removed every second plate on the two variable capacitors.
The output was 1kW with some old tubes. ^¨^
