UKSMG Summer Contest 2001 - Results

After quite a lot of work and a close look at all the logs I've received, here finally the final results for the UKSMG Summer Contest 2001.

With just 50 logs received in time for the closing date and quite a few logs after closing date I think the entry has been quite low. I think it's strange to find a lot of contesters in several logs from whom I did not receive an entry. Maybe next year.

After a close look at the logs I found that most of the mistakes were made in the UKSMG membership number. I don't think I haven't been too hard in amending the scores, just the incorrect part of the QSO has been rejected rather than the whole QSO. If I'd done that, some scores would have dropped really dramatically.

In a future `Six News' magazine I'll give some more details about the activity during this years contest.
